I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do happen, you will believe. And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

About this website
I made this website so that it might serve a manifold salvific purpose. You’re free to close it and go on with your day, but I implore you to keep reading. I even invite you to go one step further: to momentarily suspend all disbelief and pray to God for wisdom before taking a leap of faith into the rabbit hole of eschatology.
Prayer for wisdom
Heavenly Father, please let Your Word be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Please bless me with eyes that see and ears that hear so that I may discern the truth and gain wisdom. I pray these words in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Notes from the author
The end is near
War is raging between nuclear-weapon states (NWS). The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’ Doomsday Clock is currently fixed at 90 seconds to midnight, the closest since its inception in 1947. It’s hard to not see the writing on the wall: World War III is on the brink.
Humanity was warned about the end times almost two thousand years ago by none other than Jesus Christ in the Book of Revelation, also known as the Book of the Apocalypse—the last book of the Bible. The English word apocalypse comes from the Greek word apokalypsis, which means unveiling or revelation.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ is teeming with vivid symbolism that makes it challenging to interpret. Written down by John of Patmos sometime before 100 AD, it is unique among the Scriptures for being the only book that promises a blessing to the reader.
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Revelation isn’t the only book that describes the end times. End-times prophecies are scattered throughout the Scriptures, with substantial concentrations occurring in Daniel 7–12 and Matthew 24. Scripture itself seems to suggest that some of them might not be fully understood until the end.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased
It makes sense that prophetic events will be understood better when they are recently or near to being fulfilled. Despite such increased knowledge, the last days will still be filled with people who scoff at the mere mention of Jesus or His return.
2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2 Peter 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Timmy has a lot more to say about people in the last days.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Everyone can identify with at least one of these characteristics at some point in their life. Anyone who claims otherwise is not being truthful.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
But not all hope is lost. There is one way to righteousness. His name is Jesus Christ.
The good news
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luke 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
The meaning of names
Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Names can have literal meanings that are prophetically significant:
- Abraham ≡ Father of nations
- Jesus Christ ≡ Jesus the Messiah ≡ Yehoshua HaMashiach ≡ YHWH saves, the Anointed One
- Peter ≡ Rock
The names of Jesus’ ancestors
Luke 3:36 NKJV . . . Shem the son of Noah, the son of Lamech
Luke 3:37 NKJV the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan
Luke 3:38 NKJV the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
It has been previously noted that the names of Jesus’ antediluvean ancestors may reveal a message. One interpretation, popularized by Chuck Missler, starts with Adam and ends with Noah. However, the names of God and Shem may be important components of the message, so a retranslation might be warranted.
Shem, Noah’s son, was one of the eight human beings on Noah’s Ark, and can thus be counted as an ancestor of Jesus who existed before the flood. With the vital inclusion of God Himself, this brings the total number of direct antediluvean ancestors of Jesus to twelve. The number twelve has great significance in both the Old and New Testaments; it is the number of Jacob’s sons who would become forefathers of the tribes of Israel and the number of Jesus’ apostles.
The first and the last names, God and Shem, both refer to the same divine being—God. The first and last letters of the Greek alphabet are alpha (Α) and omega (Ω), and in the Hebrew alphabet they are aleph (א) and tav (ת). Together, they form the Aleph-Tav (את), a symbol used in Old Testament Hebrew as a direct object marker. The Aleph-Tav uniquely identifies Jesus Christ, who is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 22:13).
The Greek word used in Luke 3:36-38 for the son of is τοῦ (tou), the genitive case of the Greek definite article ὁ (ho). It corresponds to the English word the. The word ὁ changes forms (formally called declensions) depending on the grammatical context. These forms can be translated to various English words such as the, this, these, them, that, those, who, those who, which, what, he, she, it, one, etc. The most frequent English translations of these forms to occur in the King James Version (KJV) and New American Standard Bible (NASB) seem to be the, those, who, and them.
Note that Hebrew is read from right to left, so we will start with the literal name of God (YHWH) and work our way to Shem. The words I am will be used seven times, corresponding to the seven I am statements of Jesus found in the New Testament (John 6:35; John 8:12; John 10:7; John 10:11; John 11:25; John 14:6; John 15:1). The twelve names, together with the declensions of ὁ and the words I am, seem to reveal a powerful message from God Himself that fully aligns with Scripture.
I AM WHO I AM: The Son of Man. I am the chosen one who nested among mortals. I am the glory of God who came down. I am the dedicated man pierced with a spear. I am the lowly one who gives rest. I am God.
The core message is rendered from the possible meanings of the twelve names:
- God ≡ YHWH, literally I AM WHO I AM
- Adam ≡ man
- Seth ≡ appointed
- Enosh ≡ mortal
- Cainan ≡ (to make a) nest
- Mahalalel ≡ the (praise, shining one, glory) of God
- Jared ≡ descended
- Enoch ≡ dedicated
- Methuselah ≡ man of a (dart, spear)
- Lamech ≡ lowly
- Noah ≡ (to give) rest
- Shem ≡ name; also HaShem, literally The Name, a reference to God
Theological support for this possible translation can be found in the following scriptural quotations.

The Christ and the Antichrist
The Christ, also known as the Messiah (Daniel 9:25-27), the Anointed One (Acts 10:38), the Chosen One (Matthew 12:18), and many other titles, is the savior of humanity. He is described as both a suffering servant who bears the sins of His people (Isaiah 53:4-6; Isaiah 53:11) and a conquering king who brings world peace (Isaiah 2:4; Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 11:4). Rabbinical tradition interprets the suffering servant (Psalm 22, Isaiah 53) as a metaphor about the plight of the Jews rather than the real rejection and torture of the Christ Jesus (Isaiah 53:3; Isaiah 52:14), who suffered an agonizing death by crucifixion (Psalm 22:16; Luke 23:33).
When Jesus declared His rejection by Jews, He prophesied that they would one day receive a man who comes in his own name (John 5:43), traditionally understood to be the Antichrist. The Antichrist (1 John 2:18), also known as the False Christ and False Messiah (Matthew 24:24), is a sinful and satanic (2 Thessalonians 2:9) counterfeit of Christ who will deceive and rule the world. The Man of Sin, Son of Perdition (2 Thessalonians 2:3), Beast of the Sea (Revelation 13:1), and First Horseman of the Apocalypse (Revelation 6:2) are among the many titles that have been attributed to the Antichrist.
Though both Christ (Revelation 19:11) and the Antichrist (Revelation 6:2) ride white horses, only Christ is righteous. Unlike the Antichrist, Christ comes down from Heaven rather than up from the bottomless pit (Revelation 17:8) and has many crowns (Revelation 19:12) rather than one crown. Christ is wounded on His body while dead (John 19:33-34), but the Antichrist is wounded on his head while alive (Revelation 13:3). The Antichrist persecutes the saints (Revelation 13:7), but Christ avenges them (Revelation 19:2). The Antichrist reigns only for a short time (Revelation 17:10), but Christ reigns forever (Revelation 11:15).
Judaism neither accepts Jesus Christ as the Messiah nor recognizes that He will return, but Christianity and Islam do. Although the crucifixion of Jesus is nearly universally accepted by modern scholarship as a historical fact, Islam rejects Christ’s crucifixion (Psalm 22:16), atonement (Isaiah 53:5), resurrection (Hosea 6:2), and divinity (Isaiah 9:6). The complete truth is that Jesus Christ is God incarnate: the Son of God who took on human flesh. He is the Messiah of mankind who came once to die for our sins and will come again to save those who eagerly wait for Him (Hebrews 9:28).
The Spirit of Christ
1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
The spirit of antichrist
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2 Thessalonians 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The spirits of false prophets
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
The beast of the sea
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Revelation 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
The city on seven hills
Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Revelation 17:9 NIV This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.
Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
The Greek word for mountains used in Revelation 17:9, oros, can refer to hills. Some translations, such as the New International Version (NIV) and the New Living Translation (NLT), render oros as hills (Revelation 17:9 NIV; Revelation 17:9 NLT).
Washington D.C. is built on seven hills: Capitol Hill, Meridian Hill, Floral Hills, Forest Hills, Hillbrook, Hillcrest, and Knox Hill. Before it became known as Washington D.C., it was known as Rome, Maryland. It is one of approximately 100 cities claimed to be built on seven hills.
In 2023, the United States was ranked as having the highest military expenditure in the world at 916 billion dollars, accounting for 37% of global spending. According to the U.S. News & World Report, the United States is the most powerful country in the world. Washington D.C. is the capital city of the United States—the seat of its national and international power.
The angel of the bottomless pit
Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
The Bible contains all manner of acrostics, alliterations, puns, and wordplay in at least three languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Note that the earliest manuscripts of the Bible do not have any punctuation or distinction between upper and lowercase letters; the Hebrew manuscripts have no capital letters and the Greek manuscripts have all capital letters.
Since the New Testament is primarily written in Koine Greek, why is the reader also given the Hebrew name of the angel of the bottomless pit? Could the Hebrew name help the reader identify the beast? Interestingly enough, the Hebrew name Abaddon contains three English words: a bad don.
Abaddon, a king from the bottomless pit, is a bad lord in both description and in name. Don (meaning Lord and abbreviated as D.) is used as an honorific prefix in Spanish-speaking countries. It’s derived from the Latin word for master or owner, dominus, which was used as a Roman imperial title.
Don is also a short form of Donald, an English form of the Scottish Gaelic name Domhnall, which both mean “ruler of the world.” The suffix -ald has Germanic origins and generally means power in names such as Gerald (spear power) or Arnold (eagle power). In the Scottish Highlands, Black Donald refers to the Devil.
The head wound
Psalm 68:21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Revelation 13:3 NKJV And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.
Revelation 13:3 ESV One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast.
Revelation 13:3 CSB One of its heads appeared to be fatally wounded, but its fatal wound was healed. The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast.
Donald Trump is the only world leader (out of approximately 196) who ever appeared to have a head wound from an alleged assassination attempt, and it seemed to fully heal.
Elon Musk, the wealthiest man in the world, endorsed Donald Trump just 34 minutes after the incident occurred. It was a pivotal moment in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign that resulted in him receiving widespread praise and endorsement. He would go on to win the 2024 US presidential election.
The seven kings
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
This seems like a tricky riddle. We know that the beast:
- is from the bottomless pit
- goes to perdition
- was, is not, and is
- is of the seven
- is the eighth
The beast is called the eighth, so order matters. The table below shows the order of succession of the most recent US Presidents.
Number | Order | Reign | Name | Status |
41 | 1989–1993 | Bush | fallen
42 | 1993–2001 | Clinton | fallen
43 | 2001–2009 | Bush | fallen
44 | 2009–2017 | Obama | fallen
45 | 2017–2021 | Trump | was | |
46 | 2021–2025 | Biden | fallen
47 | 2025–2028 | Trump | is | |
48 | a short space | Abaddon | is not (yet come) |
In Revelation 17:10, the Greek word pipto can mean to fall in either a literal or figurative sense; one definition is to lose authority.
According to Revelation 13:5, the beast will have authority for forty-two months (3.5 years).
According to Daniel 12:11, a period of 1,290 days separates two events: the removal of the daily sacrifice and the abomination of desolation. The Jewish holiday Tisha B’Av falls exactly 1,290 days after the second inauguration of Donald Trump.
The false messiah
John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Donald Trump has consistently emphasized his own name in his business ventures, political campaigns, and public image. From Trump Tower to Trump University to Trump Steaks, he has built his brand entirely around his personal name. This pattern of self-promotion stands in stark contrast to Jesus, who came in His Father's name and directed all glory to God.
Despite not being Jewish himself, Trump has been strongly received by the Jewish community:
- The Trump Heights settlement in the contested Golan Heights was named after him
- The train station near the Western Wall in Jerusalem is planned to be named after him
- Jewish children have sung songs praising him
- The Temple Coin was minted featuring his image
Trump claims to be the most pro-Israel president in American history. He performed a number of unprecedented actions during his presidency, including:
- Acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital of Israel
- Moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
- Recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the contested Golan Heights settlement
He has frequently stated that he is ”the best friend Israel has ever had” and has promoted himself as a peacemaker who will create the ”Deal of the Century” between Israel and Arab nations.
Isaiah 9:6 prophesies the birth of Jesus Christ, which would occur roughly 700 years after it was written. The verse contains one of the titles of Jesus: The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Donald Trump received an award from the Israel Heritage Foundation with an inscription that blasphemously refers to him by this same messianic title.
Trump even tweeted a quote that referred to him as the second coming of God.
The covenant-confirmer
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The Abraham Accords were a series of diplomatic agreements signed in 2020 that normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan. Donald Trump played a central role in brokering these agreements, which marked a significant shift in Middle Eastern diplomacy.
The Abraham Accords covenant seems particularly significant in the context of biblical prophecy. The planned expansion of this covenant into a broader Abraham Alliance would be a confirmation and strengthening of the existing covenant. Trump has even enlisted envoys to begin aligning the diplomatic puzzle pieces for the expansion before he returns to power.
The crown-taker
Revelation 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
In 2023, Donald Trump was given a crown. It eerily mirrors the prophecy in Revelation 6:2 about the First Horseman of the Apocalypse—the rider on the white horse who is given a crown and goes on to conquer.
The decapitator
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Donald Trump has stated that he is not a Christian and that his “beautiful Christians” won’t have to vote anymore. What did he mean by this? It has been documented that Trump has inquired about reinstating and even televising the use of banned execution methods such as firing squads, hangings, and guillotines.
The self-righteous one
Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Proverbs 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Donald Trump has stated that he has never asked God for forgiveness, and that if he has done something wrong, he tries to make it right by himself and “doesn’t bring God into that picture.”
The blasphemer
Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Donald Trump has been recorded on video facing toward heaven and uttering “I am the chosen one!”
The serpent
2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Donald Trump has been recorded many times reading a poem called The Snake. Does that make sense?
The lake of fire
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
The beast that comes from the sea is ultimately cast into a lake of fire. Mar-a-lago, the name of Donald Trump’s primary residence, literally means Sea-to-lake.
The number of the beast (666)
1 Kings 10:14 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold
2 Chronicles 9:13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Jesus and the writers of the New Testament often quoted the Old Testament. Interestingly, the number of the beast occurs two other times in the Bible. In those two nearly identical Old Testament verses, the number 666 refers to the weight of gold that King Solomon received in one year (1 Kings 10:14; 2 Chronicles 9:13). Could this imply that the number of the beast pertains to money?
Revelation 13:18 specifically instructs one with understanding to count the number of the beast. The Greek word used here for count is psephizo and it can also mean calculate. Let’s calculate the modern day value of 666 gold talents using dimensional analysis.
gold price ≈ 2800 USD/oz
Many news outlets have reported that Donald Trump inflated his net worth by as much as $2.2 billion in one year—which would be equivalent to receiving 666 gold talents in one year.
The number of his name
Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
These verses clearly separate the number of the beast from:
- the mark of the beast
- the image of the beast
- the name of the beast
- the number of his name
I would like to focus specifically on the number of his name.
The Greek word for name, onoma, refers to a name by which a person or thing is called. It can also refer to a person's reputation or rank. If the number of the beast could be a couple billion dollars, then it follows that the beast could be called a billionaire. Therefore, billionaire could be the number of his name—in other words, billion could be the number by which he is called.
If this interpretation is correct, then Revelation 13:17 could mean that no one will be able to buy or sell except for those who have the mark of the beast, those who have the name of the beast (i.e. the beast himself), or those who are billionaires.
The beast of the earth
Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Revelation 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Revelation 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
The two horns
Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
The false prophet
Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
The fire from heaven
Revelation 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
The Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets produced by SpaceX are the only rockets currently in service that are capable of entering full orbit (i.e. heaven) and returning to the earth. SpaceX is owned by Elon Musk.
The unlikely odds
The individual probabilities for some of these independent events are calculable, so let’s dive in.
- Probability of receiving the value of 666 gold talents in one year (1 Kings 10:14, Revelation 13:18)
- Number of billionaires in the world: ~3000
- Number of people in the world: ~8,000,000,000
- Probability of appearing with a head wound as a world leader (Revelation 13:3)
- Number of world leaders who appeared to have a head wound from an alleged assassination attempt: 1
- Number of world leaders: ~196
- Probability of making fire come down from heaven to the earth (Revelation 13:13)
- Number of orbital launch systems that can touch back down to the earth: 2
- Number of orbital launch systems: 83
- Probability of being a city built on seven hills (Revelation 17:9)
Joint probability is calculated as the product of the individual probabilities of independent events occurring in the same timeframe.
The odds of these events coinciding are 1 in 2.2 trillion, so it is extremely unlikely that they happened by chance. It is possible that they are the events foretold in the Scriptures.
Prayer for eternal life
Heavenly Father, I know that I can’t save myself and that my heart might be hardened in unbelief. Please remove my heart of stone and give me a heart of flesh that loves You and others unconditionally. I put my full trust in the death and resurrection of your beloved Son, Jesus, who came in the flesh and shed His perfect blood to cleanse me of all sin. I turn away from my former self and let go of all unforgiveness so that You may forgive me in return. I gratefully accept the gift of the Holy Spirit and confess that Jesus Christ is my eternal Lord and Savior. I pray these words in Jesus’ name. Amen.
